Equip Yourself to be an EO Officer - Sign Up Now ! (2019)

The Equal Opportunities Commission (EOC) is tasked with enforcing four anti-discrimination ordinances in Hong Kong. We also work with employers and employees to enhance their understanding of the ordinances. Our EO Club provides an opportunity for interested parties to better equip themselves to foster an equal opportunity workplace. We welcome you to join the EO Club.

Membership Privileges
  • Welcome gift: EOC provides “in-house training workshops” to the public for free or charge up to HK$1,300. Members can join one workshop free of charge during membership year. (Workshop size is limited. Enrolment is made on a first-come-first-served basis.)
  • Networking opportunities through gatherings/seminars exclusively for members.
  • Exclusive online training to learn more about the ordinances. Certificates will be awarded to the EO Club members upon completion of the courses.

Employers, human resources practitioners, workplace trainers, and equal opportunities officers

Memberships(1/1/2019 - 31/12/2019)
  1. Individual Member
    Registration fee HK$350 per year
    If you send the cheque to us by post on or before 21.12.2018 (date of the stamp chop will be used as the submission date), the registration fee is only HK$300.

  2. Corporate Member
    Registration fee HK$600 for every two employees. Corporate member can change their representatives during membership year.

How to Join
  1. Online: please fill in the online application form at the EOC website (http://www.eoc.org.hk/eoclub.html) and post a crossed cheque payable to “Equal Opportunities Commission” (please write down your name and contact telephone no. at the back of the cheque) to EOC.

The Equal Opportunities Commission

The Equal Opportunities Commission is a statutory body set up in 1996 to implement the Sex Discrimination Ordinance, the Disability Discrimination Ordinance, the Family Status Discrimination Ordinance and the Race Discrimination Ordinance. The Commission works towards the elimination of discrimination on the grounds of sex, marital status, pregnancy, disability, family status and race. We also aim to eliminate sexual harassment, and harassment and vilification on the grounds of disability and race. We promote equality of opportunities between men and women, between persons with and without a disability, irrespective of family status and race.

Termination of Membership
Granting of the EO Club membership is at the discretion of the EOC. If the conduct of an EO Club Member is found to be unbecoming or brings detriment to the interest of other Members or adversely affect the operations and activities of the EO Club, the EOC has the right to terminate his or her EO Club membership

All paid membership fees would not be refunded.
