  Work-Life Balance Survey 2009

A latest survey conducted by a non-profit organization shows that work-life balance (WLB) still remains a priority of employees despite the economic downturn. Thirty percent of employees consider leaving their current job for better WLB. Nearly seventy percent of respondents feel that their employers should address WLB during the present economic climate.

  Support Centres Providing Interpretation Services for Ethnic Minorities and Public Service Providers

To facilitate the integration of ethnic minorities (EM) into the community, four support centres operated by non-governmental organizations are now open. One of the centres in Kwun Tong (Hong Kong Christian Service CHEER Centre) provides interpretation service from English to various EM languages and vice versa to assist ethnic minorities communicate better while accessing public services.

  New Radio Programme Promotes Equal Opportunities

A new radio series based on real life discriminatory cases, co-produced by the EOC and Commercial Radio (CR) Hong Kong, will be broadcast on CR1 every Friday from 27 November 2009 (10:30pm – 11:00pm).
