  1. The EOC Launches “Career Challenge 2010/11”  
     
 
The EOC is pleased to launch the ninth year of our annual youth mentorship programme, Career Challenge, aimed at breaking down stereotypes. The programme is co-organised with the Hong Kong Federation of Youth Group (HKFYG) this year. Aside from the opportunity for youths to interact with ten mentors who are outstanding achievers in their respective fields, Career Challenge 2010/11 will feature a new web radio programme on the U Channel of the HKFYG website with ten sharing sessions to be hosted by recruited youth mentees. Participation in Career Challenge can be taken into account for the planning of students’ Other Learning Experience (OLE) hours. Entry deadline is 15 November 2010.   2. The EOC Raises Awareness on Sexual Harassment on University Campus  
     
 
The EOC is committed to eliminating sexual harassment of all forms. With the goal of drawing the attention of students to the issue of sexual harassment on campus, the EOC is distributing to universities and tertiary institutes in Hong Kong promotional items which feature the EOC’s online training module on sexual harassment, “A Matter of She”. This online module offers students an opportunity to learn more about this topic and educate their peers. Since its launch, over 3,600 university students have used this on-line training module.

  3. New TV and Radio APIs to Promote the Race Discrimination Ordinance  
     
 
The EOC has launched its new TV and radio Announcements of Public Interest (APIs) to promote racial harmony and equality. The APIs in Cantonese, Putonghua, and English, featuring people of different races living in harmony, can be seen and heard on various channels as well as on the EOC website. Let’s join hands to promote a racially harmonious world!
