Equip Yourself to be an EO Officer - Join the EO Club Now
 |
Currently, the Equal Opportunities Commission (EOC) administers four anti-discrimination ordinances in Hong Kong ¡X the Sex Discrimination Ordinance (SDO), the Disability Discrimination Ordinance (DDO), the Family Status Discrimination Ordinance (FSDO) and the Race Discrimination Ordinance (RDO). |
| |
Close to 80% of the complaints received by the EOC under the anti-discrimination ordinances are employment related. Clearly, this underscores the need for skilled professionals to handle the equal opportunities issues within organizations and businesses. Employers have also indicated their wish to recruit ¡§EO Officers¡¨ to handle matters related to equal opportunities in the workplace. |
| |
The EOC works with businesses and organizations to assist them in implementing good management practices and to ensure they are equipped to implement equality standards in their work environment. We also work with employers and employees to enhance their understanding of the anti-discrimination ordinances. In this regard, our EO Club provides opportunity for interested parties to enhance their capabilities and better equip themselves for the said purpose. You are welcome to join the EO Club. |
