Mr. Amirali B. NASIR, is a Muslim Solicitor and Notary Public, whose areas of practice includes London and Hong Kong. As a Council Member of the Law Society of Hong Kong and Co-opted Member of the Equal Opportunities Commission, Mr. NASIR has strived to improve the legal profession, local Muslim community, and social harmony through his participation in numerous Law Society committees, religious committees, Board of governing trustees, NGO’s and Government’s committees as well as educational committees.

Mr. NASIR was also the Chairman of the Incorporated Trustees of the Islamic Community Fund of Hong Kong. As an outstanding achiever of the ethnic minorities, he has strived to help in developing local Muslim community by enhancing communication between the Muslim community and the public, government departments, NGOs, and other faiths with his professional knowledge. In 2005, he was appointed as the Justice of the Peace by the HKSAR Government for his contribution to the Hong Kong society.

Mr. NASIR grew up in London and came to Hong Kong in 1981. China always held an attraction to him since his early days in his reading and chosen electives at the University. He has an interest in meeting people of all nationalities, which is reflected in his group of friends. His knowledge and experience told him that good physical and mental health, ethics, knowledge, and innovation are the keys to success in the competitive world. He advocates that if one chooses the right path in life and adopts the right attitude one will never have to work and will be well-equipped to meet the majority of life’s challenges and be ready to meet the next and the next and the next. In the sharing session, participating students will be able to visit the Kowloon Mosque and to learn more about the Islamic culture. Mr. NASIR will also share with us his story of success and his career insight.
