Dr. Tam Chi-keung, a/k/c Camoes Tam, is a Portuguese Chinese of Macau, also a news commentator, host, professor, and the former Chairperson of Hong Kong Journalists Association (2008-09). He obtained BA, LLM and Doctor of Law from the National Chengchi University in Taiwan. He once took the posts of researcher, deputy editor-in-chief, Beijing correspondent and editorial writer in Greater China (Mainland, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macau) over 20 years. He is currently a contracted commentator and guest host for Phoenix Satellite TV, MASTV, Macau TV, RTHK, CRHK, PCCW NOW News Channel (now.com), and hkreporter.com (network radio). Dr. Tam also teaches courses of Journalism, communications and cross-Taiwan Strait relations in the University of Macau, Macau University of Science and Technology and Macau Millennium College. In addition, his academic publications include “Disputes concerning Macau’s Sovereignty between China and Portugal, 1553~1993” (1994), “Changing Mass Media Enterprise of Hongkong and Macao” (1st ed., 1997; 2nd ed., 1999) and many journal articles concerning Macau and Hong Kong.
