The Hon Michael MAK Kwok-fung   Legislative Councillor and Department Operations Manager, Kwai Chung Hospital (Registered Mental Nurse)   Michael Mak, a registered mental nurse, was elected into the Legislative Council in 2000 through the health services functional constituency. He joined the nursing profession in 1976. He had worked with Castle Peak Hospital and Prince of Wales Hospital, and is currently serving as Department Operations Manager at Kwai Chung Hospital. Mr Mak is active in community services and health care affairs. He has joined the Association of Hong Kong Nursing Staff since 1989 and worked as volunteer of Hong Kong AIDS Foundation since 1991. He also serves as teaching fellow of the School of Nursing, University of Ballarat, Australia. He also provides counseling services to members of the healthcare sector and stress management talks to professional institutions voluntarily.     Back to mentors' list
