Dr Anna TONG Yee-ha
Chief Manager (eHealth), Hospital Authority
Dr Anna TONG Yee-ha is the Chief Manager (eHealth) of the Information Technology and Health Informatics Division at the Hospital Authority (HA). She is a Specialist in Emergency Medicine, and holds degrees in Master of Public Health and Master of Business
Administration (Healthcare) from The Chinese University of Hong Kong. She is committed to leveraging clinical data and emerging technologies to support effective clinical information management and continuous improvement of healthcare delivery. Over the past
years, Dr Tong has played a pivotal role in the development and implementation of the HA’s Big Data Analytics Platform, Data Collaboration Lab and Smart Hospital Programme.
Currently, Dr Tong leads the Health Informatics Team, which serves as the technical agency assisting the Health Bureau of the HKSAR Government, to enhance the territory-wide Electronic Health Record Sharing System (eHealth) and facilitate the advancement of
primary healthcare services through health IT initiatives. She continues to embrace innovative and data-driven solutions to support the eHealth development, which would bolster care coordination and collaboration across the healthcare sector.
