Professor Kenneth Fong is a Professor and Associate Head in the Department of Rehabilitation Sciences and Director of the Research Centre for Assistive Technology (RCATech) at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He is a registered occupational therapist. He has
served as Chairman of the University Ethics Committee, Editor-in-Chief of the Hong Kong Journal of Occupational Therapy (HKJOT), member of the Occupational Therapists Board and Supplementary Medical Professions Council, and honorary advisors of several
non-governmental organisations and self-help organisations for people with disabilities in Hong Kong. He is also one of the advocates for barrier free environments, assistive technology and universal design paucts for people with disabilities and the ageing
population in Hong Kong.
