Ir Wilson Wong is the CEO of Hong Kong Internet Registration Corporation Limited (HKIRC). With more than 25 years of experience in business development and strategic management in both private and public companies, he leads HKIRC in driving strategic business
growth and operational efficiency. Additionally, he carries the utmost responsibility in advancing HKIRC's mission to establish Hong Kong as a global hub for e-commerce, while also promoting a deeper understanding and maximising the use of the Internet and related
technologies in Hong Kong and the surrounding region.
Prior to joining HKIRC, he held the position of General Manager at the IT Industry Development Division of the Hong Kong Productivity Council. He also had significant management roles at SAP Hong Kong and Microsoft Hong Kong.
Currently, he serves as the Vice Chairman of the Technology Voucher Programme (TVP) and Chairperson of the Digital Accessibility Recognition Scheme Advisory Committee. He was also a member of the Distance Business Programme Vetting Committee. In these capacities,
he provides professional expertise and advice to support small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Hong Kong. Moreover, Wilson actively participates in various industry committees, including the Industry Training Advisory Committee of Information and
Communication Technology (ICT) under the Education Bureau. He also holds positions as Vice President of the Hong Kong Computer Society and Vice Chairman of the Hong Kong General Chamber of Cross-border E-commerce, where he actively promotes the development of ICT
and e-commerce in Hong Kong.
