Dr. Sharmila GURUNGDr. Sharmila GURUNG
Dr. Sharmila Gurung is the Project Manager of the South Asian Health Support Programme of United Christian Nethersole Community Health Service, the first health promotion project targeting South Asians in Hong Kong. Active in the community, she is a Member of the Women’s Commission and a 2009 recipient of the Chief Executive's Commendation for Community Service. Born in Hong Kong, she studied in Nepal, India, and Russia before returning to the city and completing her Master’s Degree in Public Health at the University of Hong Kong. A life-long learning advocate, she is currently studying for an MBA-Healthcare from the Chinese University of Hong Kong.

Mr. Freddy LAWMr. Freddy LAW
Mr. Freddy LAW is the Founder and Director of Inter Cultural Education (ICE), an award-winning social enterprise with the aim of nurturing this city’s youths to become responsible global citizens. Born in Hong Kong, Freddy graduated with an English degree from Hong Kong Polytechnic University and completed a management program at Stanford University. He has delivered over 100 personal development sessions to students around the world in countries including, Germany, Ukraine, Romania, Macedonia, India, Mainland China, Hong Kong and Taiwan. He previously worked as a Management Trainee in Google India before founding ICE.

Ms Shum will share with the audience her love of music with a performance of Qinghai Tibetan plateau music. She previously performed at the Arts with the Disabled Association Hong Kong (ADAHK)’s annual event, Cross All Borders: Hong Kong Festival Showcasing New Performing Artists with Disabilities, in August 2011.
