Being here for more than a decade, I’ve learnt to embrace Hong Kong as my own. However, there were times where I felt as if the city had left me behind, that it did not care to look back. I started to reflect, do I belong here? My answers pointed to both yes and no. So, I went on to ask other ethnic minorities within my circle whether they ever felt the same.
