Sumit has always been the “Go-to Tech Guy” among our friends. We have watched each other grow, from each success and failure. As we celebrate his current success as a Deskside Support Engineer for a large corporation, we humbly looked back on his hustle getting here. After college, he jumped between jobs that were unrelated to his desired career in order to make ends meet. Although not the sole factor, language was a major issue. Most jobs in the market require Chinese, either Cantonese or Putonghua. Given the complexity of the language, most ethnic minorities struggle with it, which limits our capacity to achieve.
