Abuse of domestic workers seems to be an open secret in Hong Kong. Everyone knows that it is happening, and yet little is being done other than a number of cases that were bravely taken to court by the victims. People close their eyes and ears and move on with their lives. But with the increasing number of reports, isn’t it time to start seeing things clearly and take some action? As for us domestic workers, how can we find the courage to fight for our rights, for the abuse to stop?
