I came to Hong Kong to get married in August 2012. My husband took me to the Stay Ferry Pier in Tsim Sha Tsui. I marvelled at the view and exclaimed, “How beautiful!” The skyscrapers, the malls, the views… everything was just like what I had imagined, and it felt like I was in heaven. I dreamed about having a home and a job here one day, living a stable life.
