Refinement of channels for enquiries and complaints
with effect from 24 August 2020


To refine our enquiries and complaints handling services, all enquiries and complaints regarding discrimination, harassment and vilification under current anti-discrimination ordinances , that is, the Sex Discrimination Ordinance (Cap.480); the Disability Discrimination Ordinance (Cap.487), the Family Status Discrimination Ordinance (Cap.527) and the Race Discrimination Ordinance (Cap.602), or about our services should be made through one of the following channels with effect from Monday 24 August 2020 (Refer to the footnote):

  • Letter, on-line form,  fax,  telephone (for enquiries only), or in person
    (existing channels)
  • SMS service (for enquiries by people with hearing impairment / speech difficulties)

The following email addresses for making the abovementioned enquiries or complaints will no longer be in service with effect from the same date: complaint@eoc.org.hk, enquiry@eoc.org.hk and service@eoc.org.hk.

The email address eoc@eoc.org.hk will not be designated for handling the abovementioned enquiries or complaints; all related emails received on or after Monday 24 August 2020 will not be processed.  Senders will be required to use respective online forms instead.  

(Note: In view of the latest spread of the COVID-19 epidemic in the community, the EOC has adopted a Special Work Arrangement with effect from 16 July 2020. Accordingly, the EOC has decided to defer the launch the refined channels for making enquiries and complaints with effect from 24 August 2020, instead of 27 July 2020 as previously announced.)
