'Understanding Sexual Harassment' Learning Platform

The ‘Understanding Sexual Harassment’ Learning Platform is an online educational resource launched by the Anti-Sexual Harassment Unit of the Equal Opportunities Commission in early 2024.

This platform aims to enhance young people’s understanding of sexual harassment. Upon completing the course, learners will acquire a clear comprehension of what constitutes sexual harassment, learn to recognise the scenarios in which it may occur, and understand how to prevent and respond effectively to such incidents.

The Learning Platform is divided into two parts, focusing on the following key topics:

Part 1 - Basics of sexual harassment

What is ‘Understanding Sexual Harassment’ Learning Platform?   

The Learning Platform, launched by the Anti-Sexual Harassment Unit of the Equal Opportunities Commission in early 2024, is designed to deepen learners’ understanding of sexual harassment. By completing the course, learners will gain a clear understanding of what constitutes sexual harassment, recognise the circumstances in which it may arise, and explore effective strategies for both preventing and responding to it.

Who is eligible to enroll in this Learning Platform?

All university and secondary school students are invited to participate through their respective schools!

What can I learn from the Learning Platform?

By viewing these videos, you will acquire a comprehensive understanding of the legal definition of sexual harassment as stipulated in the Sex Discrimination Ordinance. The content examines circumstances that may be deemed as sexual harassment, while also delving into topics such as unconscious bias, personal boundaries, relationships, and consent.
