Deadline extended to 15 October for applications to "Tally & friends" Storytelling Competition
The application deadline for "Equality for All: 'Tally & friends' Storytelling Competition" has been extended to 15 October 2018 (Monday).
Based on the illustrated storybook series Tally & friends launched by the EOC last year, the competition is aimed at promoting messages of equality, diversity and inclusion among children and divided into five categories, namely Pre-School, Lower Primary, Upper Primary, Team and Sign Language. Participants are required to record a video of themselves telling either a story from the series or a newly created story featuring Tally and/or other characters from the book. Shortlisted contestants will be invited to compete at the finals at Lecture Theatre, Hong Kong Central Library on 10 November 2018 and have the chance to win a trophy and cash prizes up to HK$3,000. All finalists will be awarded a certificate as well.
The EOC is now accepting applications on Whatsapp. Interested individuals should send their video entries, along with a screenshot of the completed application form, to 5216 5937 via Whatsapp (the number is for submissions only) on or before 15 October 2018.
