To promote the good practices, including both physical design and thoughtful services, adopted by different awardees and highlight areas for improvement, the EOC has compiled this set of Points to Note designed to raise public awareness about the significance of an inclusive community.

The Equal Opportunities Commission (EOC) is organising a sharing session on "Application of Universal Design in the Retail Environment" to promote the good practices observed among awardees of the Universal Design Award Scheme 2024/25, through this platform to share innovative approaches of Universal Design.
The Sharing Session will begin with Welcoming Remarks by Ms. Linda Lam, SBS, Chairperson of the EOC, followed by a representative of the EOC introducing its work on promoting Universal Design, leading into individual sharing segments and panel discussions by representatives from five award-winning organisations. The event is free of charge.
