EOC’s photo exhibition “The Way We Are” travels to Lingnan University

As part of its 7th Equal Opportunities Awareness Campaign, Lingnan University is now exhibiting nearly 50 photos from the EOC’s visual storytelling project “The Way We Are” at Leung Fong Oi Wan Art Gallery.

The project was launched in December 2020 with a simple belief: an image is worth a thousand words. Featuring four sections, namely “Different and Equal”, “Where We Belong”, “Voices of Womanhood” and “Battling Stigma”, it gathers original photographic works from ethnic minority youth, migrant workers, people with disabilities, carers, new immigrants from mainland China, and LGBT people.

Together they form a touching, sometimes poignant picture of hopes and aspirations among some of the most marginalised communities in the city.

The exhibition opens from now until 28 October 2021, Monday to Friday (9am – 5:30pm, except public holidays).
