EOC Community Participation Funding Programme

Thematic projects stand to receive maximum subsidy of HK$150K under EOC’s revamped funding programme

Applications are now open for the EOC’s Community Participation Funding Programme 2022-23.

For the first time, the programme offers a maximum of HK$150,000 in funding to large-scale projects focused on one of several specified themes or issues, namely universal design; protection against breastfeeding discrimination and harassment; preventing sexual, disability or racial harassment; and family status.

Alternatively, organisations may apply with projects based on one or more of the priority areas stated in the EOC’s Strategic Plan. Funding under this category is capped at HK$50,000 for each approved project.

Since its launch in 1997, the funding programme has benefitted over 1 220 projects organised by NGOs, schools and community groups to promote inclusion and understanding of Hong Kong’s anti-discrimination ordinances.

If you wish to learn more about the eligibility criteria and application procedures, join one of the EOC’s upcoming briefing sessions, to be held online on Wednesday, 16 February (4pm – 5pm) and Friday, 18 February 2022 (11am – 12 noon) in Cantonese and English respectively.
