EOC supports “Art Unbound, Inclusion Absolute: Heritage for All Drawing Competition”

To empower differently-abled people to unleash their creativity and promote appreciation of historic buildings in Hong Kong, the Antiquities and Monuments Office has rolled out the event “Art Unbound, Inclusion Absolute – Heritage for All Drawing Competition” with the support of the EOC.

Participants must be Hong Kong residents aged 16 or above, and hold a valid registration card for persons with disabilities or a disability certificate issued by a Hong Kong-registered doctor, medical professional or  supervisor of the relevant institution.

Entries will need to depict the attributes of one of the four specified historic buildings, namely the Former Kowloon British School; Hong Kong Observatory; the Former Kowloon-Canton Railway Clock Tower; and Hong Kong Heritage Discovery Centre. They will be judged according to their creativity (40%), expression (30%) and artistry (30%).

Book coupons worth HK$10,000, HK$6,000 and HK$4,000 will be awarded to the Champion, 1st runner-up and 2nd runner-up respectively, along with a trophy.

The deadline for application is 30 April 2022 11:59pm.
