Join webinar to learn how to better support persons with epilepsy at work

What is epilepsy, and what simple steps can employers take to support persons with epilepsy at work? Join the free webinar “Challenges and Opportunities of Persons with Epilepsy in the Workplace” on 16 July 2022 (Saturday), 2pm-5pm to find out more.

Organised by Epilepsy Foundation of Hong Kong (EFHK) and co-organised by the EOC, the event gathers leading medical professionals and DEI experts to discuss the current status of employment opportunity for persons with epilepsy in Hong Kong, the challenges they face at work, and best practices for workplace accommodation.

EOC Chairperson Mr Ricky CHU will give an opening speech at the webinar. The speakers include: Dr Richard CHANG, neurologist and EFHK Advisor; Ms Anchor HUNG, Vice Chair (Western Pacific) of International Bureau for Epilepsy and EFHK Advisor; and Dr Ferrick CHU, Executive Director (Operations) of EOC.

You will also hear sharing from a talent with epilepsy, as well as representatives of the Selective Placement Division of the Labour Department, which provides recruitment service to employers and assists persons with disabilities in securing employment opportunities.

The webinar will be conducted in Cantonese via Zoom and YouTube Live.
