Exciting events for EO Youth Ambassadors

Our first-ever Equal Opportunity Youth Ambassador Scheme is gaining momentum.

Thirty-six ambassadors are taking part in an array of experiential learning and mentoring activities in these six months to enhance their understanding and awareness about diversity and inclusion matters so that they can share their knowledge and values of equal opportunities with their peers on campus.

On 2 February, the Ambassadors were invited to join Hong Kong Disneyland Resort’s “Open House for Dream Makers” event. This career development and job recruitment expo not only offered onsite interviews and recruitment, but also showcased leader and cast sharing sessions to demonstrate how the Resort is committed to inclusivity and accessibility. The students can witness a real-life example of how a modern corporate company embraces diversity and inclusion to drive innovation and growth.

Also in the same month, the Ambassadors joined a tailor-made Wan Chai Multicultural Community Tour in which they explored different cultural sites in the district, including a visit to the Sikh Temple and tried some traditional food.

Their adventure will continue! Stay tuned to get the news about them.
