To mark International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination (IDERD), the Zubin Foundation will organise an in-person conference “The Journey to Racial Equality” at the Holiday Inn Golden Mile in Tsim Sha Tsui on 21 March 2023.

The conference aims to enhance awareness about Hong Kong’s ethnic minority community, have honest discussions across individual as well as organisational viewpoints, and create a network of those interested in racial equality in Hong Kong. 

The panellists with diverse backgrounds will exchange their views on how the pandemic affects Hong Kong’s ethnic minority groups, with focuses on mental health, women and children. They will also share their experience and lessons learned from education, in the workplace and marketplace, and explore how to create an anti-racism mindset in Hong Kong.
