An exhibition featuring works from photographers at third age to be held at PolyU

The Research Centre for Gerontology and Family Studies (RCGFS) at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU) will organise an exhibition featuring photographic works produced by graduates and the tutor of the fifth edition of its photography training programme.

All of the photographers exhibiting their works are at their third age, referring to individuals who are over 50 years old. Many students in the programme started to explore photography after their retirement. The exhibition aims at promoting the idea and concept of active ageing, empowering older adults, and fostering an inclusive and healthy community.

The event will be held at the Exhibition Gallery of Hong Kong Cultural Centre in Tsim Sha Tsui from 21 to 23 June.

Established in 2010, the RCGFS aims to advance knowledge and practices to facilitate active ageing through events, workshops, programmes and research. Visit their website below to learn more about the centre.
