Pro Bono HK organises seminar on promoting anti-sexual harassment in the workplace

The Sex Discrimination Ordinance (SDO) protects people from sexual harassment in areas such as employment, and the provision of goods, facilities or services. Employers are strongly recommended to take proactive steps to prevent any potential unlawful acts.

On 14 September 2023, Pro Bono HK, a non-profit organisation, will hold an in-person seminar in Central at 4pm. The purpose of the seminar is to explore strategies for establishing a safe and inclusive workplace environment that is free of sexual harassment. The event, funded by the EOC’s Community Participation Funding Programme on Equal Opportunities, aims to provide attendees with knowledge about sexual harassment and practical tips for handling related complaints. The event will be conducted in English.

Human resources professionals, employers and executives from companies, including those of SMEs, are encouraged to participate in the seminar and engage in discussions to enhance their understanding of relevant policies and measures. Those interested in attending the seminar may submit their applications on or before 13 September 2023.
