Join 2023 Mental Health Month to embrace better mental health for all

The Mental Health Month initiative is a territory-wide campaign that encompasses a range of publicity and educational activities, with an aim to raise community awareness regarding mental health issues, encourage individuals to prioritise their mental health, and foster support for others.

This year, the Organising Committee, comprising Government departments, NGOs and public bodies including the EOC, has selected the theme of “Just Chill and Love Yourself”, encouraging the public to take time to address their mental health amidst their fast-paced lifestyles, which often contribute to pressure and neglect of their physical and mental needs.

One of the activities is a four-panel comic drawing competition that invites students and members of the public to unleash their creativity and collectively promote mental health. The comics should convey the importance of learning to care for oneself in the midst of a busy life. The entries may be shared in territory-wide public education activities on mental health and featured in promotional media related to the Mental Health Month. The submission deadline is 13 October 2023.
