The Women’s Foundation organises Young Allies Programme to cultivate future DEI leaders

The engagement of men and boys in achieving gender equality is of utmost importance. The Women’s Foundation is organising the Young Allies Programme, which seeks to cultivate a cohort of young men to actively advocate for gender equality. The EOC is one of the supporting partners of this initiative.

The programme is specifically designed for male university students who are studying in years 2-4. Participants will receive mentorship from senior male executives, have the opportunity to attend inclusive leadership workshops, and gain access to job shadowing experiences. By enrolling in the programme, participants can enhance their leadership and communication skills, develop an in-depth understanding of allyship, acquire essential Diversity, Equality and Inclusion (DEI) skills, and become part of a vibrant community that champions gender equality.

All mentees who attend at least 80% of the workshops and mentoring sessions will receive certificates and be recognised as Certified Young Allies for change.

The application deadline is 8 October 2023. Shortlisted applicants will be invited to join an online interview. Successful applicants will commence their unique journey in the programme in November 2023.
