Social Enterprise Summit 2023 International Symposium calls for registration

The Social Enterprise Summit (SES) 2023 International Symposium, organised by Hong Kong Social Entrepreneurship Forum, will take place from 2-4 November under the theme of “Sustainable Wellbeing+”. This symposium aims to bring together social entrepreneurs, social innovators, NGOs, businesses, investors, academics and others for cross-sector dialogues on fostering holistic wellbeing and building a sustainable society.

The symposium will offer a diverse range of activities, including insightful keynote speeches, expert-led panel discussions, interactive workshops and activities. Notable keynote speakers include Dr Romina BOARINI from the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), who will introduce and explain OECD’s wellbeing index and its indicators. Additionally, Mr Bernard CHAN, Chairman of M Plus Museum, will share insights on how art and culture can promote local wellbeing. Other discussions will revolve around three key perspectives: (1) business and finance, (2) art and culture, and (3) technology and innovation.

The dialogue part of the event will be held in Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre on 2-3 November. On 4 November, participants will have the opportunity to visit one of the following social enterprises: Eco-Greenergy, Bridge+, Day by Day, and GreenHub, with an aim of gaining a deeper understanding of local social innovation.

While most sessions will be conducted in English, simultaneous translation services will be available in English, Cantonese and Putonghua. Some sessions will also allow online participation through SES’s official social media channels. For interested parties, please visit the SES’s official website for further information and registration details.
