The EOC has won the Hong Kong Management Association (HKMA)’s 2023 Best Annual Reports Awards – Excellence Award for Small Size Entries. This prestigious accolade acknowledges the EOC’s efforts in producing high-quality annual report to inform stakeholders of its work. Dr Ferrick CHU Chung-man, Executive Director (Operations) of the EOC, attended the ceremony to accept the trophy.

The Best Annual Reports Awards is an annual competition organised by HKMA to encourage the publication of timely, accurate, informative and well-presented annual reports for shareholders, stakeholders, employees and others who may have an interest in the performance and activities of the organisations in question.

Themed ‘Building a Bright Future Together… 25 Years and Beyond’, the EOC’s 2021-22 annual report provided a comprehensive overview of the Commission’s work in law enforcement, policy advocacy, research, public education and promotion, as the EOC reached its 25th anniversary milestone in 2021. Notwithstanding the challenges posed by the COVID-19 epidemic, the EOC remained unwavered in its dedication to advancing equal opportunities for all. During the year, the EOC also intensified its digital efforts by launching an Instagram profile to engage the younger generation.
