EOC’s spring training workshops open for applications

The EOC’s 2024 spring training workshops are now open for applications. The upcoming programme, which will run from April to June 2024, will feature three free courses and seven fee-charging courses.

The spring programme will include two new fee-charging courses: “Access for All under the Anti-Discrimination Ordinances” will explore measures to improve accessibility and create a universally accessible environment, while “Manager’s Roles in Combating Workplace Sexual Harassment” aims to enhance the capacity of frontline supervisors and managers to prevent and effectively manage sexual harassment incidents through role-play and case studies.

The free courses will be held online and will cover such topics as introduction to the anti-discrimination ordinances, unlawful harassment, and protection for breastfeeding women. Meanwhile, the other fee-charging courses will guide participants through a wide range of topics, including ensuring equal opportunities during the recruitment process, issues related to sex discrimination and family status discrimination in human resources management, and managing discrimination and harassment complaints in the workplace. All the courses are especially beneficial for managers, HR and Diversity, Equality and Inclusion (DEI) professionals, recruitment consultants, and business owners.

Places are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration should be made at least seven working days before the date of the course. For enquiries, please contact the EOC at 2106 2155.
