HKCSS holds S+ Summit cum Expo 2024 to promote sustainable development

Rapid social, economic, and environmental changes present both challenges and opportunities for Hong Kong. In order to encourage the adoption of innovative thinking and solutions to build a sustainable and liveable city, the Hong Kong Council of Social Service (HKCSS) will host the S+ Summit cum Expo at Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre from 2 to 3 May 2024.

The event will bring together over 4 000 stakeholders from different sectors to discuss local and regional social issues under the framework of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations. Approximately 140 social welfare organisations, social enterprises, and businesses will exhibit solutions to various social issues. Additionally, the two-day expo will include keynote speeches and panel discussions covering more than 20 topics by over 40 speakers. The topics include gender equality, universal design, youth mental health, caregivers, digital transformation of social services, and more.
