The sixth batch of the Arts Development Fund for Persons with Disabilities under the Social Welfare Department is open for applications until 23 August 2024. The fund aims to promote the participation of persons with disabilities in cultural and arts activities, giving them opportunities to develop their potential and enhance their quality of life. Non-profit making organisations that fulfil certain requirements and with two years of experience in organising arts activities or training programme for persons with disabilities are eligible to apply.

The fund supports two tiers of projects. Tier One projects provide elementary and continuing arts programmes that enhance participants’ knowledge of the arts and foster their interests. Tier Two projects are large-scale, impactful, and sustainable projects that support individual persons with disabilities with great artistic potential to pursue a career in performing, visual or creative arts.
