EOC’s autumn training programme opens for application

Applications are now open for the EOC’s 2024 autumn training programme. Running from October to December 2024, the programme includes three free-of-charge online courses and seven fee-charging courses.

The three free courses are “Introduction to the Anti-Discrimination Ordinances in Hong Kong”, “Understanding the Unlawful Harassment under the Anti-Discrimination Ordinances” and “How Breastfeeding Women are Protected under the Sex Discrimination Ordinance”.

One of the fee-charging courses, “Embracing Diversity, Equality and Inclusion in the Workplace”, invites participants to explore such topics as unconscious bias, gender equality, accommodations for employees with disabilities, measures to promote racial diversity and inclusion and corporate policy on equal opportunities.

Other fee-charging courses will provide deep dives into specific issues, including promoting racial inclusion in the workplace, combating workplace sexual harassment and managing recruitment and Selection Processes. These courses are particularly beneficial for managers, HR professionals, Diversity, Equality and Inclusion (DEI) specialists, recruitment consultants and business owners.

Places are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration should be made at least seven days prior to the course date. For enquiries, please contact the EOC at 2106 2155/2511 8211.
