
Photography exhibition showcases the stories of carers of persons with intellectual disabilities
The Mental Health Association of Hong Kong will organise an exhibition on 25 February 2025 (Tue) to showcase the mobile photography of eight carers of persons with intellectual disabilities. The opening ceremony will be officiated by EOC Chairperson Ms Linda LAM Mei-sau.
The event, which is part of the Good Enough Carer Companionship Project funded by the Advisory Committee on Mental Health, aims to enhance public awareness of the experiences of carers for individuals with intellectual disabilities. During the event, the eight featured photographers will share the inspiration behind their work and discuss the challenges they face while caring for their family members. The exhibition also provides guided tours and mind-body healing workshops. Details of the event are below:
