EOYAs train with athletes with disabilities and join anti-sexual harassment workshop
The third cohort of Equal Opportunity Youth Ambassadors (EOYAs) participated in various experiential activities in the month of February to enrich their knowledge on diversity, equality and inclusion.
On 13 and 27 February, the EOYAs participated in training sessions with the Hong Kong Network for the Promotion of Inclusive Society’s Fearless Dragon Running Team. During the sessions, the EOYAs had the opportunity to exercise with athletes with disabilities and learnt about the challenges people with disabilities face in everyday life.
On 22 February, the EOYAs participated in an anti-sexual harassment workshop led by the EOC’s Anti-Sexual Harassment Unit. The workshop provided the EOYAs with an in-depth understanding of sexual harassment and empowered them to become active bystanders. Building on what they learnt, the EOYAs will launch promotional campaigns to spread the anti-sexual harassment message on campus.
