EOC launches anti-sexual harassment video contest

The EOC is calling for submissions for the “Safe Spaces For All: Anti-Sexual Harassment 60-Second Video Contest”. Members of the public are invited to create innovative short videos to promote the message of zero tolerance for sexual harassment, foster a culture of mutual respect, and build safer communities.

The contest features three categories: Secondary Education, Higher Education, and Open. The first two categories are open to secondary school and tertiary students, respectively, while the Open category has no restrictions on the participants’ age or identity.

Video submissions should be between 55-60 seconds in length, in Chinese and/or English, and filmed in the vertical 9:16 aspect ratio. The submission period is open now until 5 May 2025. Participants must complete the online application form and upload their video to Google Drive to submit their entries.

Winners will be selected by a judging panel as well as a public vote on Instagram. They will receive trophies along with cash prizes of up to HK$4,000.
