HKBU’s School of Creative Arts hosts carnival to promote inclusion of people with visual impairments
On 27 April 2025, the Global Entertainment (Business Administration) Programme of the School of Creative Arts at the Hong Kong Baptist University organised an inclusive carnival for students, staff members, and people with visual impairments on campus. With around 100 participants, the event aimed to promote social inclusion and enhance public awareness of the challenges faced by people with visual impairments. The EOC served as a supporting organisation for the event. Dr Ferrick CHU Chung-man, Executive Director (Operations) of the EOC, also attended the carnival as a guest of honour.
Organised in collaboration with local NGOs, the event featured a diverse range of activities, including immersive experiences, game booths, music performances, and interactive workshops designed for both individuals with and without visual impairments.
