The EOC has a longstanding partnership with the banking industry to ensure that individuals from diverse backgrounds have equal access to quality banking and financial services. Organised by the Hong Kong Institute of Bankers (HKIB), the Outstanding Financial Management Planner Awards aim to promote best practices in financial planning among the financial planning practitioners, including ethical selling and product suitability for clients from diverse backgrounds. The EOC is a supporting organisation of the initiative.
