Radio programme School Net 334 on Commercial Radio 1 will broadcast highlights from the grand final of the Equal Opportunity Cup Inter-school Debate Competition on 22 June 2025 from 12:30pm to 1:30pm. The programme will first air an interview with EOC Chairperson Ms Linda LAM Mei-sau and representatives from Heep Yunn School, the first runner-up. This will be followed by highlights from the grand final, capturing the lively debate between Heep Yunn School and Hong Kong University Graduate Association College on whether technological advancement does more good than harm in building an inclusive society.

Separately, Commercial Radio 1 will broadcast an interview with Ms Lam and representatives from Hong Kong University Graduate Association College, the champion of the competition, on 19 June 2025 from 9:30am to 10:00am during the programme On a Clear Day.

The EOC launched the debate competition in December last year to provide opportunities for secondary school students to explore issues related to equal opportunities in Hong Kong, and to promote diversity and inclusion by raising public awareness of the anti-discrimination ordinances. Commercial Radio 1 is the media partner of the competition.
