On 1 August 2025, the EOC will host a sharing session to showcase exemplary universal design practices in the retail environment. Representatives from five awarded premises of the inaugural Universal Design Award Scheme (UDAS) will share their experiences and insights in creating inclusive shopping experience.

Titled ‘Application of Universal Design in the Retail Environment’, the session will feature presentations and panel discussions with UDAS awardees to explore effective strategies and solutions to enhance accessibility in shopping malls and retail spaces. Event details are as follows:
