EOC hosts Racial D&I Teacher Partner Award Ceremony
On 28 August 2025, the EOC held the Racial Diversity and Inclusion Teacher Partner Award Ceremony to recognise educators for their achievements in promoting racial inclusion in schools.
The Racial Diversity & Inclusion Teacher Partner Award aims to encourage educators to take proactive steps to foster multicultural learning environments for students from diverse racial backgrounds. Aside from attending at least two EOC training sessions, the awardees also organised various activities to promote racial inclusion in their schools. A total of 63 teachers received the award.
During the ceremony, EOC Chairperson Ms Linda LAM Mei-sau, EOC Members Ms Queenie CHAN Lai-kwan, Ms Aruna GURUNG, Mr Simon LAM Ken-chung, and Dr Vincent WONG Wai-lun and EOC Executive Director (Operations) Dr Ferrick CHU Chung-man presented certificates to the awardees. The event also featured sharing sessions by senior educators, award advisor Ms Vandana RAJWANI and representatives from youth organisations of various ethnic backgrounds on effective practices and strategies to support racial diversity and inclusion on school campuses.
