On 22 September 2025, the EOC hosted a visit for 32 senior judges from the Mainland participating in the 18th Advanced Programme for Chinese Senior Judges. The study programme is organised by The Centre for Judicial Education and Research cum Identification of Hong Kong Law at the City University of Hong Kong, which aims to deepen participants’ understanding of Hong Kong’s common law system through lectures and visits to institutions.

During the session, EOC Chairperson Ms Linda LAM Mei-sau introduced Hong Kong’s anti-discrimination legislation and how the EOC promotes equality in Hong Kong through law enforcement, research and policy advocacy, and public education. There was also a lively Q&A session during which attendees gained a more in-depth understanding of the EOC’s work in fostering inclusion.
