Two EOC staff members, Ms Emily KWOK and Mr Ken TANG, Acting Senior Equal Opportunities Officers (Complaint Services), received the Individual Awards in The Ombudsman’s Awards 2025. The recognition is a testament to their exceptional professionalism and dedicated service in handling complaints. EOC Chairperson Ms Linda LAM Mei-sau and the management team attended the award presentation ceremony alongside the awardees on 18 November 2025.

Introduced by the Office of the Ombudsman in 1997, the Ombudsman’s Awards Scheme recognises public officers for their professional and outstanding service to the public. This year, a total of 80 public officers received the Individual Awards for their exemplary professional service.
