EOC holds seminar with Dream Impact on creating safe co-working space

The EOC co-organised a seminar with Dream Impact on 10 December 2025 to promote racially friendly and harassment-free co-working spaces.

Titled ‘Respect for All: Co-Creating Safe and inclusive Shared Workplaces’, the event provided a valuable opportunity for around 30 participants from diverse sectors to connect and engage in discussions on advancing diversity, equality, and inclusion in shared workspaces. Representatives from the EOC’s Ethnic Minorities Unit (EMU) and Anti-Sexual Harassment Unit (ASHU) shared insights on fostering racial equality and preventing sexual harassment in co-working spaces, while participants exchanged ideas and shared their experiences in implementing equal opportunity policies during the Q&A session. They were also given a guided tour of Dream Impact’s shared workspace to learn about the unique operational needs of co-working spaces.

The EOC hopes to collaborate with other operators of co-working spaces to provide workshops or seminars on creating inclusive shared workspaces. Interested parties may contact the EOC’s EMU (racialequality@eoc.org.hk) or ASHU (2106 2222|compass.events@eoc.org.hk) for more information.
