This year, Ramadan will begin on 18 or 19 February, coinciding with the Lunar New Year and marking a unique cultural convergence. Ramadan, the ninth month of the Islamic calendar, is a time of fasting, communal prayer, reflection and community for Muslims worldwide. The EOC sincerely wishes the Muslim community in Hong Kong a blessed and fulfilling Ramadan.
