The EOC Provides “Vaccination Leave” for Staff after COVID-19 Vaccination in Support of Government's “Early Vaccination for All” Campaign

02/06/2021

The Equal Opportunities Commission (EOC) has released today (2 June 2021) the detailed arrangements on the COVID-19 vaccination leave for the Commission’s employees, which is implemented in support of the Government’s “Early Vaccination for All” campaign. The arrangements are:

Staff members of the EOC will be entitled to a day of vaccination leave for each COVID-19 dose received from 1 June to 31 August 2021.

Staff members who were vaccinated on or before 31 May this year will also be allowed to apply for one day of authorised absence for each dose already received.

The vaccination leave may be taken before 31 March 2022.

The EOC already announced on 31 May 2021 that the Commission would adopt similar arrangements as the Government, right after the Government made announcement on the vaccination leave for Government employees.
