To safeguard the health of staff members and service users against the COVID virus and its mutant strains, the Equal Opportunities Commission (EOC) has implemented the vaccination in lieu of regular testing (VRT) arrangement with immediate effect. 

All staff members of the EOC who have received or already made an appointment for their first dose of COVID-19 vaccine will be exempted from regular testing, while other staff members should undergo nucleic acid tests for COVID-19 at community testing centres every two weeks.

Under such an arrangement, EOC staff members can still choose whether to get vaccinated or not. If they choose not to receive vaccination, they are required to undergo bi-weekly nucleic acid tests for COVID-19. 

The EOC encourages staff members to get vaccinated as this is essential for maintaining a healthy work environment.
