28/06/2001

The Equal Opportunities Commission (EOC) will launch a TV situation drama series for children this summer. The TV series produced by Cable TV will run for 4 weeks from 2 July 2001, Monday to Friday at 5:30 p.m. on Cable TV's Children Channel.

You are cordially invited to attend the press conference which will be held at 12:00 noon on 29 June 2001 (Friday) at the Assembly Hall of S.K.H. Yat Sau Primary School at Luk Lau Avenue, Choi Hung Estate, Kowloon.

Production of the educational TV programme is one of the key public education initiatives taken by the Commission to promote equal opportunities. The drama series which feature discriminatory stories in a lively manner would help the public gain a more in-depth understanding of the anti-discrimination ordinances. At the press conference, Ms. Anna WU, Chairperson of the EOC, Mr. WONG Yat-san and other celebrities, will be present to promote the message of equal opportunities.

Your participation and/or sending representatives to the press briefing is much appreciated. For enquiries, please contact Ms. Mariana Law at 2106-2226.
